What is Engane.AI?
Engane.AI (എങ്ങനെ.AI) is a Malayalam-first AI assistant. You can chat by typing in Manglish or Malayalam, or talk to it in full voice mode — and it replies naturally in Malayalam.
Do I have to type in Malayalam script?
No. Type the way you already text — "enthelum sradha und" — and Engane transliterates it and understands you. You can also type in English or Malayalam script if you prefer.
Can I talk to it instead of typing?
Yes. Voice mode lets you speak in Malayalam or English, and Engane responds out loud in a natural Malayalam voice — great for hands-free use or if typing is slow for you.
What is the Naatil.com integration?
Engane is connected to Naatil.com, a live Kerala services directory. So when you ask for a nearby hospital, a shop, today’s gold rate, bus routes, emergency numbers or local news, it pulls real local answers into the chat instead of guessing.
Is it free?
Yes — you get 25 free messages to try text and voice, no credit card needed. After that, paid plans start at just ₹99/month for 200 messages a day.
Is there an Android app?
Yes. The Android app is currently in testing on Google Play. You can join as a tester from the “Get the Android app” option on the home page, or email support@engane.ai to request access.
Does it remember me?
It learns your name, location, preferred formality and interests to personalise your replies. This is used only to improve your own experience — see our Privacy Policy for details, and you can delete your account and data at any time.
What languages are supported?
Malayalam and English today, with Marathi in early access. Malayalam is the primary, first-class experience.
