How to prepare for this track

Teacher eligibility preparation combines subject knowledge with child development and teaching methods. This is an eligibility examination, not a job appointment guarantee.

Category II has a 60-question subject component. This profile focuses on mathematics and foundation science, alongside pedagogy and Malayalam/English; it does not cover the Social Science option.

Use pedagogy explanations to connect an answer with a classroom decision. The initial subject bank needs supplementation with the full category-specific syllabus and teaching-method questions.

  1. Read the organising authority’s syllabus and mark the topics you have already studied.
  2. Take a fixed mock without pausing the timer. Record weak subjects and the questions where you guessed.
  3. Review the explanations, revisit the source material, then use a custom set for focused practice. Return to a different fixed mock to check progress.

TRY THE METHOD

A worked practice example

Several learners repeatedly make the same subtraction error. What is the most useful first teaching response?

Reveal the answer and explanationExamine their working to identify the misconception.

A diagnostic check reveals which step learners misunderstand. Feedback and a targeted activity can then address that difficulty before another assessment.

Original illustrative exercise. This is a foundation example, not an official question or a statement of full exam difficulty.

What these mocks cover

Foundation practice from a growing bank, including numerical variations. It does not yet cover every syllabus topic or reproduce official question difficulty. These are original practice papers, not previous-year papers. Category II science uses foundation science/EVS questions. Subject pedagogy, Category II Social Science, and Categories III/IV require separate banks.

Fixed variants can share questions. Numerical variations practise the same concepts with different values. The bank has automated format and scoring checks; expert review and broader topic coverage remain ongoing work. Use official study material and previous papers from the authority alongside these exercises.

Questions and answers are saved to your account during an attempt. Keep an internet connection: after the deadline, only answers already received by the server count. Submitting unlocks the explanations and makes the result final.
